Akrotiri Fish Reserve

Limassol Area

Copper Wreck

A British Man'O'War with copper bottomed hull foundered on the reef on the western tip of the Akrotiri Peninsula. Not much remains from the original wreck although you regularly retrieve the copper and brass pins embedded in bits of the hull. Caves Archway and many species of fish. 9 metres.

Akrotiri Fish Reserve

Amazing interaction with local marine life. A very shallow dive suitable for all divers. Hand feed groupers, moray Eels, Bream and Bass. Many octapus to be found. 9 metres.

Pharses II Wreck

An open deck cargo ship of less than 1000 Tonnes lying on it's starboard side and intact. An abundance of marine life can be observed here. Penetration can be achieved although under strict supervision. 21 metres.

Three Stars Wreck

This vessel caught fire and ran aground back in 1972. It is partly submerged in only 7 metres of water and very safe to enter in several parts. Interesting exploratory dive for all levels.

Big Country

A great multi-level site with many caves, overhangs and very large boulders some more than 12 metres high. Grouper, Morays, Octopus and large shoals of damselfish are found here. Max depth 23 metres.

M.V. Habe Wreck

A very good training wreck for beginners. This 1000 tonne Barge is semi-submerged against Limassol harbour wall. Although quite broken up it still makes for an interesting poke around dive. 
9 metres.

Twin Rocks

Two large rocks protruding out of water from a depth of 
21 metres. A blow hole can be found on the eastern rock. Caves and a lot of interesting marine life will be found in the surrounding area.

Sharks Cove

Don't panic... it used to be called fisherman's Cove and sharks unfortunately have never been sighted here. A spectacular Cove on the Akrotiri Peninsula. A submerged Tunnel starts and ends the dive where in between you glide along the cliff face before circling over a rocky reef bottom. 12 metres.

Tombs

Very close to the shore there is a series of apparently man made caves which resemble ancient tombs. Very scenic with profilic marine life. 12 metres.

Caverns and Caves

100 metres offshore in a depth of 14 metres you will find many interesting caves on a large reef. Varied marine life.

Archways and Pinnacles

A large Archway in 21 metres of water with four pinnacles situated on every major compass point. An abundance of marine and fish life to be found all over the area. Good Navigation Site.

Larnaca Area

The excellent wrecks-Zenobia Ferry Sank 1980 and HMS Cricket Sank 1947. The Zenobia dive starts at 17 metres and bottoms at 43 metres. It is completely intact and nearly 200 metres long. Articulated vehicles still have their original cargo on board. Large schools of Amberjack, Grouper and Barracuda are often encountered along with the many different other species that choose to make this ship their home. This vessel sank on her maiden voyage to Cyprus.

Ayia Napa Area

Ideal all level destination with many caves and reefs with good coral growth and amazing visibility.

Paphos Area

Jubilee Shoats Probably one of the most talked about sites in Cyprus. A fantastic submarine cliff from 17 to 40 metres with pinnacles, caves and overhangs. Many large predatory fish have been sighted here as well as large groupers, octupus and morays. For the more experienced divers only, there is an amazing tunnel penetration. Other dive sites in the Paphos area include wrecks, reefs, caves and walls.

Latchi - Polis -Akamas Area

Many very scenic sites ideal for photographers and divers of all levels. Mostly coral reefs, walls and caves.
