PADI DIVEMASTER COURSE - responsibility and satisfaction

If I had to write a Divemaster job profile, these are some of the qualities an ideal Divemaster would have. Do they fit in with your own goals and ambitions?

  • high level of personal diving skills
  • knowledge of diving theory approaching instructor level
  • valuable assistant during diving courses
  • capable of assuming responsibility for the welfare of divers under your supervision
  • works closely with new students and divers
  • a role model for divers with lower qualifications
  • underwater guide
  • ready for the Instructor Development Course

Perhaps this is not you at the moment, but with training, guidance and experience from Aloha divers Cyprus, the Divemaster qualification is well within your reach. To achieve the rating of Divemaster is a deeply rewarding experience. The single most important characteristic defining a Divemaster is "responsibility".
